The Istana is located on a southwestern tip of Bali, in an area named The Bukit. This five suite estate overlooks white sand beaches and a lagoon abundant with sea life and coral, and in the evenings, magical sunsets. When the trade winds blow, a massive swell crashes onto the surrounding reef, crafting waves that attract worldwide surfing attention; the breaks are rated the fifth best in the world. Uluwatu beach is only a ten minute walk from the villa.

Set back forty meters from the cliff face, The Istana sits within a tremendous gated property and is composed of two swimming pools, a relaxation bale, a private guest house (containing the master bedroom), and a main house. Within the main house is a living room, dining room, entertainment room (known as the Dotcom room), and four identical bedroom suites. Both of the buildings are single-story and open-air with rich teakwood floors, inspiring a natural ambiance, while maintaining and accentuating the spectacular view. The overall style is a medley between understated modern architecture and traditional Indonesian detailing, with features that blend Indonesian materials and workmanship. The artwork represents a mixture of primitive art and antiques originating from Indonesia , keeping with the aura of tradition and style.

Please note that all villa rates are subject to an additional surcharge of 15% for taxes (10% VAT) and service (5%).

Last Minute Booking Terms & Conditions :

• Subject to villa availability
• Suites which are not booked will not be accessible
• All villa facilities, including pool, kitchen, F&B services, Dotcom room, etc., will be fully available for all last minute bookings
• No other clients or groups will be booked at The Istana during a last minute booking, meaning that each booking is guaranteed exclusive occupancy of the villa
• Suite Bookings minimum apply
• All bookings include return airport transfers.

Low season : 5 nights
High season : 5 nights
Peak season : 10 nights
